"Stardust"
#PokemonGO: So I have been playing this game for a while now. Over the years I've seen many changes to the game. Most of which have improved the game in one way or another. I find that if you play well it is relatively easy to balance your resources to optimize your game. For instance you can optimize use of balls and berries and your route along poke stops. Most players do this instinctively without thinking to much about it.There is one recourse however that seems to be a lot more scarce then all the others: Stardust. The scarcity of this resource has been disproportionately increased thanks to trading and PvP. For all the end-game stuff you seem to need more and more stardust. Perhaps this is intentional; but it seems rather a pity that you are so limited in the amount of Pkmn you can improve. On top of that stardust feels really uninteractive. To solve this I have a few ideas that I'd like to see in the game:Star pieces could give 100% boost instead of the meager 50% increase it gives (optimizing the use will still be quiet hard but at least they will be little bit more worth it)The amount of dust could scale with your throw just like Exp does, this way the more skilled you are at catching the more dust you get.A new Berry could be introduced one that instead of giving you a boost to candy; gives you double the amount of stardust.A candy <=> stardust converter could be introduced. Right now there are a lot of pkmn that veteran players will have tons of candy of that isn't ever gonna get used (i.e. Mr. Mime candy); give players the ability to trade this for dust with a professor so that it feels a little less useless. So those are my ideas for improving stardust play. Let me know what you guys think. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2Mp1aU9
