"The Gym Map Is Useless"

#PokemonGO: Niantic really dropped the ball on this one. There is a feature in your gym badges list to view all the gyms you have visited on a map. My first thought was excitement, as I think it would be cool to track your journey this way. However, the map turned out to be useless. The gyms are overlayed on an extremely barebones map that shows only land masses and oceans. This means that if you zoom in at all, you have no frame of reference for what town/city/state/country you are in. This seems like such an easy fix, as the game ALREADY USES ROADS IN ITS GAMEPLAY!
