"Cracking the Rocket CP formula, Part 2 -- If you're Lv 39 or under, we need your help!"

#PokemonGO: If you have an account Lv 39 or lower, we need your help gathering Rocket CPs!A week ago, u/dondon151 cracked Team GO Rocket's CP formula for Lv 40 players. However, we were not able to fully extrapolate the formulas for Lv 8 to 39 players, and so some of us went out to collect further data.To recap, this was the formula that was determined:CP = floor(Attack * sqrt(Defense) * sqrt(HP) / 10)whereAttack = 4 * (baseAttack + 15) * rCPMDefense = 2 * (baseDefense + 15) * rCPMHP = (2 * floor(0.5 * baseHP) + 14) * rCPM(HP is also rounded down for battles, but not before the CP calculation.)rCPM is a CP multiplier specific to Team GO Rocket members, which scales with the player's Trainer level. It was concluded that for Lv. 40 players, rCPM = 0.63251. However, upon collecting more CP data from lower-level accounts, we were not able to find any meaningful patterns. Here are the results for rCPM I managed to gather, along with the sample size (N) of unique species for each level. Typically, we want as many samples as possible (at least 10 per level) to make a conclusion on the true rCPM. Rows in bold indicate decently large sample sizes.LevelrCPM (Est)N400.6325180+390.615253380.6046392370.5932986360.5823623350.5699974340.5583783330.5451393320.5336362310.5201029300.510257290280.4857265270.4740975260.46472325250.4529356240.4400235230220210.41261128 - 200The data I collected for these values can be found on this Google Sheet. If you have a low-level account, please let us know what Rocket CPs you encountered for a species, and it was against a Leader or Giovanni. Screenshots or videos are very much appreciated, but we also have ways of verifying them if you don't have any. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/32S8yxu
