"Why isn't the Lugia&Ho-Oh Weekend in LOCAL TIMEZONE?"

#PokemonGO: The official blogpost mentions that the Special Raid Weekend for Lugia and Ho-Oh will take place from Friday, December 20, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST to Monday, December 23, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. PST (GMT −8).Why? Why always San Francisco time? Why does Niantic never learn? This means that Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania will only have 3 days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) of Special Raids, as it will already be too late in those regions to have raids on Friday -- whereas the Americas get 4 days.Short-time events should always be held in local time. This should be a no-brainer.It should be Friday 12am (0:00) to Monday 11:59pm (23:59) everywhere, local time. Even for Americans this would be better than having to do it after/before 1pm.Edit: Lmao, getting downvoted by Americans, because most Europeans, Africans and Asians are asleep right now :3 via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/34aNmU3
