"100% Shadow Moltres: Purify, PvP , or Trophy?"

#PokemonGO: So I finally beat Giovanni, completing the first round of rocket research, turns out there is more. In doing so I caught the Shadow Moltres. First question, is Shadow Moltres guaranteed catch? I caught it on my first throw. I used I pinapp berry on it, and then missed the excellent throw, no ring bonus. That seemed odd, I expected more work to catch it. After catching it and checking the stats I was like... So everyone gets a perfect Moltres? I thought to myself how weird it was, how anticlimactic that we don't get the excitement of variety. It's the same way I felt with the Guaranteed shiny Eevee reward. I was like this is dumb, it hardly counts. So I slowly sat there thinking about it, and then I googled it and watched a youtuber catch one and check stats. It wasn't until then I realized I really did happen to catch a very rare SHADOW MOLTRES. Still in a bit of disbelief.​So now what do I do with it... It knows frustration So even in great league battles would it be any good? I could Purify it and it would go up to 2475 CP.
