"New bug/loophole in go battle league PvP ?"

#PokemonGO: Today on 4 occasions , my opponent used 3 shields . Yes 3. did anyone else notice this ? First time I thought I was not paying attention but it happened again this evening . My guess is they were shielding and switching off wifi and coming back or something like that . But I swear they used 3 shields .
