#PokemonGO: They can clearly track when people are moving or not, seeing how that's the whole point of the game and how they can track your distance for eggs. So why not an event that incentivizes staying put and quarantining yourself? They would obviously have to account for drift, but that's doable for sure. Just make it so as long as you don't move more than a certain amount you effectively count as stationary for the event. Increase the spawns for lazy or slow pokemon like Slakoth, Slowpoke, Snorlax, maybe have a napping hat pikachu since they seem to like that so much. Put Regigigas in Go Battle League rewards (Slow start), make certain pokemon spawns related to standing still (maybe every few minutes a Slakoth spawns). They could make a Special Research line with tasks like claiming rank rewards in GBL, catching/taking snapshots of Snorlax, Slakoth, etc, and then they could have something neat at the end like a shiny Munchlax encounter or a PvP perfect Vigoroth. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2QayfG0
