"My biggest issue with Nintendo wanting to create an easier game:"

I was five years old when I got Pokemon Red. I could not 'read' (I didn't know anything aside from the Pokemon and typing (I attribute this to my time to watching the anime and playing Pokemon Stadium). But I was able to beat the whole game on my own. I was able to catch the legendary birds and Mewtwo. The legendary birds even dodged pokeballs back then, but my five year old brain was able to say, oh hey if they are paralyzed, then they may not be able to dodge it. Lo and behold. My seven year old self was able to play up to Snorlax in Gold/Silver because I didn't know how to get the Pokeflute. Wasn't until I was eight that I realized I could use the Pokeradio.Nintendo forgets that their child marketed game used to be harder, and now those same people want games that were "as" difficult as they used to be because we felt good playing them via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3bZ9IMP
