"Pokémon Go cannot go back to “normal”"

#PokemonGO: I’m sure I’m not the only one, but there is no way that the game can revert to the way it was pre-pandemic. The increased spawns, remote raiding, and, most importantly, upgraded incense are changes which, when reverted/dropped, will make the game feel hollow again.Increased incense spawns was the best thing to happen—I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used an incense and gotten 1 Pokémon every 5 minutes. Even saying it now sounds absurd—incense used to only give 1 Pokémon every Five minutes. Egg distances, too.Should they revert, I wonder how many people will stop playing? I know that I will, and the game will once again become catch 1 Pokémon/spin 1 pokestop (assuming i can get the baby out of the house, anyway).Does anyone else feel this way, or am I being entitled? Now that the precedent has been set and we know that Niantic has the capability to provide these “bonuses” it’s going to be difficult to go back, knowing that it’s purposefully being held back.EDIT: /u/scullzomben & others pointed out 2 other great points: 1.) the increased interaction distance for gyms/pokestops and 2.) getting guaranteed gifts from pokestop.EDIT 2: /u/SwitchHypeTrain brought up that the walking requirement to participate in GBL will return as well and, imho, is one of the worst things that can return, especially with how many garbage Pokémon are in the encounter reward. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/3e6jMV6
