"The negative effect of Cherrim at Flisvos Park"

#PokemonGO: TL:DR Cherrim are everywhere, help us get some attention from NianticHello trainers,I made a post earlier today about Cherrim spawns in my area. In continuation of that post i wanted to share some pics and give some more info about the whole situation. So, first of all, the area where i play (Flisvos Park, Athens, Greece) was a place-to-be for PoGo since day 1 of the game. It's a park and a pier zone with some playgrounds and a sport center. Really pleasant place to go for a walk etc. The spawn density was pretty decent and it still is. Until Gen 3 the biome was a Magnemite/Voltorb biome, like 50% of the spawns were those 2 Pokemon. With the Gen 3 coming into the game, plus the addition of the weather (Dec 17 if i'm not mistaken), things changed. Cacnea and Castform were everywhere. Those two Pokemon may be everywhere but Cacnea's catch rate is at 50% and Castform's at 30%, which the first one is pretty good and the second is not bad at all. So they were reducing the diversity of the spawns but, hey, you could catch them "easily".May 19 comes in and Cherrim hit Pokemon Go. They join the other two C's and their combined power in the area is enormous! Without an event they contain the 65% of the spawn table in the main areas of park and pier (while the unaffected zones are the water spawn points were you can get some decent spawns different than those three and the sport center which got a desert biome). So what's happening when an event hits the game? The answer is simple, the areas with the three C's biome getting just a small uptick in the diversity, depends of the event the spawn rate of those three spawns goes as low as 40%, never lower, and many times (with kanto events) they stay at 65%.In the first days it was fun, i mean it's ok, you get 300 (375 wb) dust for each Cherrim, right? Well... NO. You may get a bonus of 200 dust (plus 50 more if wb) but they got a 9.5% catch rate! That means you have to shoot a big amount of ultras at each Cherrim and don't even think about go for a Poke Ball, it will just not work. It would be fine if you were seeing a small amount of them, but not with that intense. Plus you get no event / cool spawns, ever.I am a really hardcore player with 680k+ catches who walks 20km+ every day and i really can't stand that any more. I see the other people who use to play in the park to be full of that crap too. I mean, how would you feel if every day you had a Cherrim/Castform/Cacnea CD? Castform spawns in every weather with insane percentages, Cherrim can't spawn in Rainy and windy (no idea about snowy and foggy, i have never seen them) and Cacnea spawns only in Sunny. The weather in the area is like 60-70% of the year sunny (and for the last week we had our first 40C temperature for the year), which means that all those three getting their peak numbers.I posted some images with today's screenshots from the Cherrim intensity in the big clusters (i didn't catch the rest of the Pokemon, there were just none of them most of the times), the nest is Ponyta, that's why there are some spawns of that (the nest seems nerfed in this event tho somehow) and the nearby spawns that are not Cherrim/ Ponyta are in the water spawn points (who had mostly starters and the cat). And because some people may think i am a bit extravagant i posted some pics of my three C's candies (not bragging, i wouldn't brag with those thrashes :P)Please, help us seek for the attention needed, as it happened with Salamis Island some time ago and the Cacnea last week. We are trying to fix that bad situation. Thanks guys that you stayed and read that.Let's make PoGo great again. Cheers!Pic Link https://ift.tt/3e929E0 via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2zkoI9W
