"About to rediscover my love of the series with, in my opinion, two of the best games in the franchise"

I helped my parents clean out their house last weekend and in doing so discovered this treasure trove of old games. Not pictured there is a copy of Pokemon Yellow, just out of frame.Seeing Diamond and SoulSilver stirred some old feelings in me and I had the desire to replay them, but it didn't feel right to erase the files with which I'd spent probably hundreds of hours.Turns out, Past RackEmWillie had transferred all of his Pokemon up into future games, so when I booted up both Diamond and SS, all I found was a Pidgey in one and a Weedle in the other. Time to experience these games again guilt-free.(Side note: From everything I understand, Platinum is superior to Diamond, but I never owned it and it seems like trying to get one now would either run the risk of getting a fake or would eat into my rent money.) via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2ZSnHko
