"Warning: If you have already gotten your 5 surprise encounters from the summer event snapshots, you will NOT get your 5 gastly photobomb encounters"

#PokemonGO: This morning I took my 5 snapshots for the summer event photobombs. Now, CD has just started in New Zealand and I didn’t get any gastly surprise encounters. My friend’s account got the gastlys and didn’t do the summer snapshots. So, this likely means that you could get 5 summer snapshots before/after CD, or 5 gastly snapshots during CD, not both. I’m not sure if you could mix them (Eg: 2 summer snapshots and 3 gastly snapshots), though I’m sure it’s possible. So, if you want the gastly encounters, don’t do the summer encounters.Also—Shiny gastly from snapshots does NOT show up shiny in the overworld (My friend got a shiny and it wasn’t in the over world).Edit: Wording via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/2WyIQxA
