"Purifying pokemon should give XP equivalent to dust cost"

#PokemonGO: This will shift XP grinding away from gifts and more towards the main mechanics of the game.Battling a grunt/leader, saving the Pokémon, and then purifying it only gives XP when you catch the ‘mon. Purifying really feels like it should give XP like evolutions, since the battles don’t.5K experience for beating Sierra, catching lapras, and having enough candy/dust to purify seems pretty reasonable.“Normal does not mean weak” rattata will be a source of XP grinding rather than a waste of time.1/2 dust cost = XP gain would also work if this seems too OP (especially with rocket takeover days), but I still think 1:1 is balanced when compared to gifts.Think of all the Pokémon we will save 😉E: I no longer think this is a good way to grind for XP because dust is valuable, but I still think it would be a good addition via /r/TheSilphRoad https://ift.tt/33KaTyG
