#PokemonGO: I’m fine with spending money for 5 raids to unlock mega evolution as that seems perfectly reasonable. Just a one time unlock like a second charge move. Instead we have a system where you have to keep doing raids in order to use the mega, requiring constant spending to use.This is gonna get even worse when they’re eventually allowed in GBL. If a mega evolution is meta relevant, the only people who will have access to it are whales that can afford to continuously dump mega energy into it. That would be like if in order to use a legendary, you constantly had to dump candy into it or else you couldn’t use it. As if PvP wasn’t pay to win already.It gets even worse when a mega leaves raids. How am I supposed to get candy to mega evolve it then? And no, I don’t want a “rare mega candy” as all that will do it make megas even more paywalled!Literally all you have to do to fix the system is make mega evolution a 1 time cost with a cooldown period. I don’t see how it’s that hard. Niantic still makes money and it solves all the issues relating to Pokemon being locked behind a paywall. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/2YGgKRW
