"What were some of the major PoGo features that received mostly negative review and what did Niantic do about them?"

#PokemonGO: Just off the top of my head, I seem to recall that the Buddy system was also not well received after the release but I don't think Niantic did anything to improve it? Of course, Mega is arguably a much bigger and profitable feature so Niantic might take it more seriously?I'm just trying to manage my expectation of what Niantic will do to try to fix Mega mechanics.
