"Does Anyone else want a Gym Leader like Blue again?"

In G/S/C and their remakes Blue is the Viridian City gym leader, and unlike other leaders that have a theme Blue's team is extremely diverse. Cheren could've done that if he was the 8th gym leader, but they missed that opportunity. We know leaders can have teams with varying types, but no leader has actually touched on a guy with just no theme whatsoever.
