"In Gen 9 you should have your own customisable gym"

I’m sure we all agree that Hoenn’s secret base thing was pretty cool, so they should expand on this idea in Gen 9.After you become champion, you get to open up your own gym and place whatever items / furniture you want.But it’s not just for decorations. the gym’s other function would be that NPCs can enter your gym and challenge you.You get a certain amount of challengers per day, which can be trainers you’ve already battled throughout the game as well as iconic characters from other games / regions. Just imagine if Red or Cynthia walked into your gym, it would be unforgettableThis could also be an opportunity for special events to keep the game fresh and once you defeat them they gift you with an event-exclusive pokemon (Eg. you can fight N on the week of Black & White’s anniversary and he’ll gift you with a shiny zorua. Just an example)This could also be a place for online battles with other playersAnd yes, I know it wouldn’t make sense that a champion has their own gym but who cares?
