The gym challenge is the region's main sporting event, but it's also how the region gets it's power.Dynamaxed and Gigantamaxed Pokemon fight in arenas built over power spots, specially built to generate power by transferring the energy to Hammerlocke's power plant/gym.But that's specifically from Dynamax/Gigantamaxed Pokemon. Z Moves and Mega Evolution don't produce the same energy.So Chairman Rose banned them, making it so the only option for a trainer's gimmick to finish a battle with the one that he relies on to power the Region.And since Mega Evolution and Z moves can't be used in the region's definitive battle format, there's really no demand for them so it's hard to get your hands on the items needed to use them. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2RgNd0D
