"Rerelease the Remakes"

I grew up with Gen 1 but I didn't have a gameboy so I didn't play until much later. My first game was Leaf Green and then Soul Silver. I loved the updated graphics, gameplay, and most of the original monster designs. Now I have two children who are getting into Pokemon. I'm thinking of getting a Switch for Christmas and Let's Go Pikachu. However, I am amazed that LGFR, HGSS, and Emerald are not available anywhere. Currently I'm playing yellow on my 3ds and plan to play Gold and ORAS afterwards. I can honestly say that if they had rereleased these games on the Switch I would buy a Switch immediately so I could play with my daughters in an easier way.I would be fine with simply releasing the original games on the Switch but it would also be cool to see them done in a 3d style (so long as it would be done well). I've seen the info about BDSP and it looks ok. Does anyone know why they seem to hate on the best remakes in the series?
