"I think the Pokémon pictures in the new Pokédex in Legends Arceus should be illustrations rather than 3d models."

When I first watched the trailers, I noticed that the new Pokédex is obviously a book holding what is supposed to be handwritten information compiled on all of the Pokémon in the Hisui Region. Complete with the picture for a Pokémon being a piece of paper stuck in the book.However, the actual image of the Pokémon in question is a 3d model. I really feel like they should be illustrated, similarly to the original Sugimori artowork, or something. I made a quick mockup of what I think it should look more like.Curious what others think! The game looks super cool so far, and I’m happy to see the series move in an ARPG direction (so long as it doesn’t wholly abandon the classic style), seems like it’ll work well! via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/3ATNqbv
