"Niantic refusing to disclose odds in Pokemon Go should be enough for all of us to play for free."

#PokemonGO: Thanks to diverse research groups in r/thesilphroad it’s been demonstrated that the shiny odds for Heracross and Kangaskhan have been manipulated, meaning it was significantly easier to get a shiny of those mons at the beginning of the event. We also have other research studies for egg events showing they’re simply a scam. And lastly, Niantic himself has “accidentally” turned off shinies in the past, and poorly compensated those who already spent even hundreds of raid passes trying to get the shinies. To me this is a bigger concern than the distance to spin pokestops, and a major reason to just play for free. via /r/pokemongo https://ift.tt/3iUbpkB
