"Kalos, Galar: a theory"

So I was looking at the Wiki for the different Pokémon regions, specifically the history sections, and I found that between those regions, there is a recurring number that keeps popping up: 3000 years. So it got me thinking... what if those regions were more connected than we thought? We know that Kalos was at war with un unknown kingdom 3000 years ago and that's when the Ultimate Weapon was fired. We know that 3000 years ago, Eternatus awoke and the first Darkest Day happened in Galar. So my little bullshit theory is that the kingdom Kalos was at war with was Galar (iirc, Galar is one of the very few regions to have been a confirmed monarchy in the past, the only other being Alola? I think? And that would also reflect the ancestral rivalry and many wars between France and England) and it's against them that AZ fired the Ultimate Weapon (possibly creating the odd, ring shaped rock formation behind Hammerlocke?).But the impact of the Ultimate Weapon woke Eternatus up and caused him to go in a frenzy: the Darkest Day. Much like during the second Darkest Day in modern history, twin heroes (the age of the average Pokémon protag, between 10 and 15) rose against Eternatus, accompanied by Zacian and Zamazenta. They managed to put them back to sleep and were made the kings of Galar. And the war ended after this: the people of Kalos were horrified at the immense sacrifice AZ had made to fire the Ultimate Weapon, and refused to fight any longer, while in Galar, the impact of the Ultimate Weapon and the Darkest Day had caused so much damage that it took decades for the people to rebuild and get back up from it.Honestly, I'm pretty sure others have already suggested this connection before, but idk, I wanted to share my thoughts, see what people think of this idea? via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/2Ybjnhc
