"Will Pokémon Ever End?"

Me and my Boyfriend just had a very interesting discussion where he asked "do you think pokemon will ever end?" And I thought it was very interesting thought!! My answer was that it won't end anytime soon for sure, it's currently like in the top 3 most popular Franchises in the world I'm pretty sure, so they are raking in the cash for Nintendo. My thought are that pokemon would probably end at some point between Generation 15 to 20. And also thought of what features they may add, like at some point I feel pokemon fusion might actually happen for a lack of any better ideas.What are yalls thoughts? What features could get added?
