"Is it known why BD/SP have in-game purchases?"

I was looking at the eShop and noticed that both games will “offer in game purchases”, but i don’t think they have been revealed yet. i doubt they are cosmetics or currency, so does that mean there will be dlc for these games? Let’s Go Pikachu does not have this tag, but SwSh does and it had major dlc, and BdSp and Legends Arceus both have the tag as well.
