As you may already know space time distortions are pretty rare so you would’nt want to de-spawn a rare event. You can rest for a short while if your distortion is still forming but resting until midnight DESPAWNS the event. I found this out when I was intending to let the distortion form faster but it completely despawned the rare event do not be like me. You should know this because awesome Pokémon including two starters you did not pick will spawn here and valuable evolutionary items and tools will be found inside one.
