"One Mild Concern About Scarlet and Violet"

For context, I actually pre-ordered both games earlier today. I doubt they'll do anything to make me hate them. That being said, I do admit that one of my biggest struggles with Sword and Shield was actually choice paralysis. So many of the prior gens usually only had about 5-10 Pokemon families between each gym, often with repeats from the roster before the previous gym. However, you get to Galar, and you realize that there are 100+ Pokemon families that you get access to before you even register for the Pokemon league, let alone what is available before the first gym. It was difficult to teach what sort of team I would put together for a playthrough. Now we're looking at a truly open world with most corners of the map open after the prologue. I know it might sound like me making an issue out of an absolute win, but the idea of getting several hundred Pokemon available from the start makes team building a bit of a headache.Granted, the game might be more exploration-based than battle-based, but it's just a concern I admit I have to get off my chest. via /r/pokemon https://ift.tt/U5WkPqZ
