I've been thinking of a spinoff game idea and thought it could be a cool discussion. No idea is too weird, tell me what you want made.A pokemon farming simulator. Starts with the traditional inherit a farm from grandpa, but instead of upgrading tools and equipment, you're raising and evolving pokemon to improve the farm.You'd start with a random poke, more like a pet. Grandpa wasn't a trainer so it's not real strong, but it wants to help. You have to feed it too, and since money's short you can feed it a portion of the crops. Cuts into your profit but inexpensive. Evolved forms are more efficient. One Venusaur does the work of 10 Bulbasaur, eats half the food.You'd have to catch pokemon in the wild still to use for farm chores. Different types are better for one thing or another. Pidgey aren't good at watering, but can transport crop bundles or pick weeds.Working the farm improves stats, level ups and ev training. You might assemble a traditional team and start exploring the region. Some out of the way area has rare pokemon that excel at certain skills. Expand and buy land in other regions.Mini games from other games and the anime could be expanded on.
