"Blown away by Crystal"

Recently I decided to do a full play through of Red for the first time since the early 90’s. I then purchased crystal, emerald and leaf green based on recommendations here and plan to work my way through them all. By the way what the hell is up with the prices? I sunk like 600 between a mod’d GBA-Crystal-Emerald-lead green. Anyway so I just started crystal and am blown away by the in game detail. It tells you exactly how much an item heals your Pokémon, it tells you what part of the world you are entering when walking, shows other trainers battling, pokemon actually moving during battle, picking fruit, the list goes on and I’m only a few minutes into the game.
