"I don’t understand the nickname rule, but I really don’t like…"

Okay fine. Pokémon decided we can’t change Pokémon nicknames. Whatever. I don’t like it, but I can deal with it. But…Why are foreign names treated like nicknames! Why can’t I change the name of a Pokémon with their original species name from a different language?!Sometimes, I’ll trade for Pokémon with a Japanese or Chinese stamp, which is fine, but then I can’t change the name, so the Pokémon kinda feels out of place. Is anyone with me on this?? I’m not talking g about the OG trainer giving it a nickname in their language. I mean if the name is what the Pokémon is called in another language and has never been nicknamed.
