As some of us are aware (Although I'm sure many of you may have forgotten, as I did until /u/Alex_Hyperion reminded me), today marks exactly a year since the reveal of Sun and Moon, and I decided to look back at the wait we had for Gen VIIFeburary 26th, 2016: Sun and Moon announced via a reveal trailer, which accidentally 'leaked' Pikipek. Within hours, many in the Pokémon Community had figured out the location of the new generation, Hawaii.March 12th, 2016: Corocoro promises that April will be the start of Sun and Moon infoMarch 26th, 2016: Gathering at the Pokémon House (Which I'm assuming is the new name for Pokémon Sunday, given it changes so frequently) announces a special episode in which Junichi Masuda will be appearing, along with the first footage of Sun and MoonUnknown date, April: A leaker supposedly leaked info that the next starters would be an Owl, Cat and Sea LionApril 3rd, 2016: Gathering at the Pokémon House reuse footage from the trailer released over a month ago as their 'new footage' they hyped up. Junichi Masuda, when interviewed about the new game, said 'There would be atleast 10 new Pokémon in it' and that 'Pikachu would be in the game'. Corocoro then promise to show 'Type:Null's true strength' next issue, which fans immediately assume is a 'face reveal' of said Type:NullMid September: Chinese Riddler adds a picture of a sage and a voice actress to their list of Pokémon hintsSeptember 20th, 2016: Passimian and Oranguru confirmedOctober 4th, 2016: After a month extra waiting time, the evolutions of the starters are revealed, Brionne, Torracat and Dartrix.
