"Good News: Pokémon Go works with VPN's"

#PokemonGO: Regardless of your political views in (or of) the U.S., most people who are not 1) ISP executives, or 2) Politicians paid off by ISP executives, think the recent legislation allowing ISP's to collect and sell your Internet history without permission is a TERRIBLE idea. The only way to combat this (besides voting the scumbags out) is with a Virtual Private Network or VPN.I signed up for one last night: Nord VPN. My concern was that it would cause lag, GPS drift, or even make Pokémon Go stop functioning, but it works perfectly. And, for 5 bucks a month, it's totally worthwhile. I'm sure there are many other good VPN's out there (I'm not shilling for Nord), but I can say that one appears to work almost invisibly. So, if you are interested in at least attempting to protect your privacy, look into a VPN; it won't prevent you from catching that elusive shiny (your rotten luck will do that). via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2oDvuNh
