"Anyone been threatened playing this game?"

#PokemonGO: I'm visiting my parents. The area sucks and there isn't much unless I drive pretty far. The only thing nearby is 1 stop and 1 gym. I've been going there and taking it down and leaving every day, sometimes multiple times per day. They always take it back fairly quickly so I started just leaving a magikarp or something stupid. Just because I know as I walk away, a car full of valor is going to pull up and bring it back to level 7 in no time. And they always do.So yesterday I went down town to walk around, hatch some eggs and see what was up gym wise. On my way back I stopped at that gym. They had gotten to level 8 so I start taking it down. Some time goes by and I end up claiming it. As I'm finishing up they pull in and ask if I've been the guy taking their gym and leaving shitty Pokemon. I just laugh and say yes. Assuming they would spark up conversation about the game or something somewhat friendly. Instead he says, if you take our gym again I'm going to put you down like a sick dog.I couldn't help but laugh in his face. That's just how I react to stupidity. He was maybe about to graduate high school or just graduated; couldn't have even hit 21 yet. But he assured me that he and his friends were very serious.I told them to stop leaving shitty defenders and walked away. Did the only logical thing and went back at around midnight, took their gym and left a magikarp.Anyone else encounter douche bags like this?Edit: this blew up and I wasn't expecting it!
