"Project More Pokestops, Anyone?"
#PokemonGO: Well, here I have an interesting prospect. But before looking into it, let's get down to the current state of affairsNiantic's not accepting new submissions for Pokestops/Gyms/Portals (Ingress related) as of now.Yes, you can contact them if you have a business related proposition, but otherwise, nope.Niantic will definitely be looking to have more Pokestops & Gyms in the future. Not way to many that our avatars walk through them every 5 minutes, but a sufficient amount. And yup, those living in the rural areas have taken quite the hit from a lack of Pokestops. I live in an urban area and feel it's unfair to those on the not so greener side. I remember John Hanke talking something along the lines of the experience being the same for everyone from a small town to big metropolitan cities.So.Since we have time, we could put in some effort and gather data for newer locations in all areas. From photos to descriptions to their proper title. And we can pin them up at the proper coordinates so it's more convenient and accurate. We could have it on The Silph Road itself, or maybe on another website. If we have the Intel collected, we won't be rushing around in the future when Niantic opens it's doors to new submissions.Even while we're on vacation somewhere, we can crop up the time and find some spots for a nice new Pokestops. It'll get those who are a bit lazy to get out more frequently. Here's how Niantic likes it -http://ift.tt/2bXgYNI course they're looking to find some new ways to evaluate submissions, but we'll have a lot in place by the time they are willing to accept more of these.Cheers! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2bOPMjI
