"Can nests be time-specific?"

#PokemonGO: I reported a Growlithe nest today on the nest atlas, but I'm not 100% sure.I've sometimes seen multiple Growlithes on walks through the park (never a cluster), but they seem to be sporadic, as I can also walk through and never even see one on the sightings.Yet to establish any kind of pattern of whether it's always in the day or night, or at certain times, but interested to see if anyone else has experienced similar?
