"How you actually want to fight with the new training system - 2 tips"
#PokemonGO: As you can read in this thread:http://ift.tt/2ebHPb8 the prestige gain is now based on the CP of your highest attacker. You have two possibilities to engage gyms now: either only fight the lowest defender and run, or take on several subsequent defenders. Fighting several defenders only makes sense if the first one is really low, or they have a narrow prestige range, so that you can attack with a bigger team that also has a narrow CP range.1) If you decide to go for a ~ half CP attacker to gain max prestige per fight, you don't actually want to slot in 10CP guys as secondary attackers.you want to insert some trash mons that you caught earlier. the 300 CP pidgeys or that 500 CP ratticate from the last evolving spree. Here is why: you want to gain that 1000 prestige with a single fight and without losing too much time. And you don't want to lose and get nothing.Minimize your risk by switching your primary attacker in case you missed a dodge or two and it doesn't look bright. Then finish off the defender with the trashies and you'll gain that 1000 prestige. Saves the revive, maxes prestige gain, makes resource efficient use of candy-grinder guys.2) If you want to fight several subsequent defenders with a narrow range of CP, choose your attacker's range with a narrow CP range as well. That way you still may gain more than 500 CP per fight, even though your highest CP attacker might already come close to the first defenders CP. If you have free slots, fill them with trashies as back-up.I hope my tips may help those who still try to figure out an efficient way to engage in the new training system. Please add your ideas and strategies! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2dttlyt
