#PokemonGO: The gym meta is commonly criticized for only allowing a few viable top-tier Pokemon. It got me thinking: on the show, water Pokemon are significantly weaker off their native turf. What if there were different gym "biomes" that gave certain types of Pokemon a stat boost while giving others a stat drain (indicated by a green or red halo around the Pokemon)?
