#PokemonGO: Short story/TLDR:If you are fast enough, it is possible to open the app from being totally closed after the time that adventure sync should trigger, go directly to your egg inventory and hatch the eggs in incubators by leaving the app open on that menu. Once the egg hatches, you can close the menu and adventure sync rewards will roll. I was able to get two eggs today after (absent mindedly) spinning an egg right before 9 AM. I hope some travelers will find this information helpful.​Long Story - Background:​It is sought after to receive the 10 km egg reward bundle from the 09:00 weekly adventure rewards popup because these are an excellent source of shinx and riolou. Unfortunately, the rewards are rolled when the popup comes up and if there are not enough egg slots, you cannot get your 5km and 10km as possible reward bundles.Among many travelers, here this has led to the awkward practice of playing with open egg slots to have a chance to get egg rewards. Unfortunately, this is easy to mess up. I freed up two slots last night, and accidently spun a stop a few minutes before 09:00. (D'oh!) 8/9 slots filled! *facepalm*​But you can open the app from being completely closed without triggering adventure sync rewards:​I attempted to use the method reported by u/Omegamyr (Keeping on the egg inventory screen until your eggs hatch). This method calls for keeping the app continuously open from before 09:00. However, my wife noticed that a forced update had been applied. I was concerned about being falsely flagged for having my account using an outdated version to communicate with the server as some travelers may be currently experiencing, so I closed out the app, updated, force stopped (android force stop), and cleared cache (android concern). When I restarted the game, I quickly pressed the button for pokemon inventory, and was able to get to the egg menu without seeing any rewards screen. Presumably, if you needed to empty two egg slots, you could load 2 incubators. I hatched my egg from that menu, and closed out. I triggered the AS rewards screen and got a 5KM/10KM reward bundle. Hope this information helps someone else recover after accidently filling an egg slot at the wrong moment.​PS. I was running android, this would need testing from someone with iOS.​PSS. There has been suggestion another method could be to change timezones on the phone.
