"My Go+ catch rate with type bonuses compared to before type bonuses for 525 encounters"
#PokemonGO: When the Go+ released I did som research for the catch rate with the Go+. Now i've done the same thing again for catch bonuses and I've compared my statistics from the old research with my new research and here are the results: Things to note before you read:No type bonus changed during the researchBefore version 0.41.2 - 0.41.4 I was lvl 26During version 0.41.2 - 0.41.4 I was lvl 27 Catch rate summaryBefore version 0.41.2 - 0.41.4CategoryCatch RateEncountersOverall summary49.71%525Normal type47.13%87Water type54.36%195Normal/Flying type51.72%87Bug/Poison type51.72%78Version 0.41.2 - 0.41.4CategoryCatch RateEncountersOverall summary56.57%525Normal type52.87%87Water type58.97%195Normal/Flying type58.62%87Bug/Poison type60.26%78 Catch rate differenceCategoryDifference in % unitsEncounter differenceOverall summary6.86%0Normal type5.74%0Water type4.61%0Normal/Flying type6.90%0Bug/Poison type8.54%0 BonusesTypeBonusNormal3Water3Normal/Flying3Bug/Poison3As you can see the catch rate has gone up for all categories, which is the most important thing, but it's not the same for all categories so a margin of error is something to consider. Probably more entries are needed as well. *If you are interested in the raw data you can view it here: http://ift.tt/2e0qY6w document consist of 3 sheets where the 1 sheet contains the Pokémon entries, sheet 2 contains some more statistics and formula data and sheet 3 contains the old Go+ research. The document also compares Pokémon CP. *Also, If the SilphRoad team are interested, i've kept going collecting encounter data and is currently at ~800 entries. If you want to see that data just message me. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2eGkoBR
