"This is one of the greatest days of my life."

After six years of working a soul sucking job at a grocery store, I’ve finally decided to quit and have moved on to a better, more fitting job for myself. Back in July, a Pokémon store called “Original 151” opened up in my local mall. It’s one of the coolest stores I’ve ever been in. It’s got all sorts of Pokémon merchandise that any fan would go nuts over. They were hiring more help for the season, so I applied, interviewed, and got hired on for the season, possibly permanently if things go well.Today was my first day, and I can already tell it’s going to be an amazing work experience. I get to work with products that I have a personal interest in, with people who are as passionate if not more about Pokemon as I am. And the best part? Watching the kids come in and lose their minds at all the products we offer. 9 year old me would have passed out right in the doorway.So yeah. I’m just really happy, and I wanted to share this with y’all. Pokémon has been an obsession of mine for nearly fifteen years. This job is an absolute dream come true!(I swear I never do this, but thank you all for the awards and well wishes. It’s people like you guys that made me want this job, and why I’ll enjoy it so much.
