"PSA: CP order is based on unrounded CP."

#PokemonGO: We know that the CP that you seen on your pokemon's stat page is:MAX (10, floor (Base Atk + Atk IV) * (Base Def + Def IV)^0.5 * (Base Sta + Sta IV)^0.5 * CPM^2 / 10) In your pokemon storage or gyms you see certain pokemon with the same CP because of this. However, in the system they are actually ordered based on their true CP (including the decimal part that you don't see):(Base Atk + Atk IV) * (Base Def + Def IV)^0.5 * (Base Sta + Sta IV)^0.5 * CPM^2 / 10) Not sure if this has been posted before but I just noticed this when calculating the IVs of some of my pokemon. I don't know what they use in the case that two pokemon have exactly identical true CP though.edit Thanks to doublefelix921, I figured out that the above is incorrect. If you unfavorite or evolve a pokemon, it will go to the bottom of the CP list. I evolved all my weedles in order of CP (from highest to lowest) so the last pokemon evolved is also the pokemon with the lower "True" CP. It is possible that the latest in the gym, etc. would also be a change that causes the pokemon to be at the bottom. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2dvtMto
