Some, i don't know about all but some of the punk guy/girl trainer type appear to be named after actual rock musicians, some with slight name changes, so far i've seen Yoko (Yoko Ono) Johny (Johhny Rotten-Sex Pistols) Courtney (Courtney Love-Hole) Lane (Layne staley-Alice In Chains) and Sid (Sid vicous-Sex Pistols) at first i thought maybe it was just a coincidence but after Yoko i figured it may be more than a coincidence. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2fxRjbP
