"Pokémon Go is anti-social (for me)"

#PokemonGO: Gameplay-wise the only thing that has to do with player interaction are gyms, which are also the only way to earn coins as a F2P player. With gyms the default is that everyone regardless of team is your enemy, it is you against the whole world. Otherwise you'd just get free coins, which would be boring. There are two ways to change this:Play with existing friends.Form an organized team of players.Neither of which work for me. My friends quit playing a long time ago. I've never heard of any organized play in my area. Even if people were up for it, it would require a lot of commitment. This has been the case in all iterations of the gym mechanics, but it is of course worsened by the current situation, as has been noted in many threads.Anyone else feeling this way?The reason I want to bring this up, is in the hopes that eventually there is some other way to interact with other players than PvP, or at least some mechanic that rewards player interaction instead of punishing it.I would love to play the game with other players, as random encounters instead of in an organized committed way.Gyms fill some of the criteria, but the problem is that the optimal situation is if all other players just disappeared.I want a game mechanic that completely reverses that. Something that gets better the more people get involved in it, not something that gets worse.Any ideas for such game mechanics? Bonus points if it rewards coins in a balanced way. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2eSyl2N
