"Soloed my first Level 10 gym, who else has tried it?"

#PokemonGO: I finally did it - soloed my first level 10 gym!I thought I'd share this story for the less experienced readers of this group who may be encouraged to try to solo their own level 10 gym.The total time was 1 hour., with the later levels going much faster than the first couple of levels. The defenders were 3 dragonites, 1 snorlax, 1 nidoqueen, and 5 arcanines, ranging from 2200 CP to 3100 CP. I thought about stopping a couple of times, but I kept remember the advice in this forum "if you start taking it down, finish the job"[EDIT] I do realize the 5 arcanines make this gym easier, as several commenters pointed out, it was one of reasons I chose it. I certainly wouldn't want to try a gym full of snorlaxes and laprases as my first solo level 10 attempt!I'm level 26 Instinct, and my team of attackers consisted of:Vap 1966 (aqua tail)Vap 1882 (water pulse)Vap 1781 (hydro pump)Dragonite 2335 (breath/pulse)Lapras 2144 (frost / pulse)Lapras 1899 (ice shard / blizzard)I was able get the full clear bonus the first battle, and ever other battle except for one. I only dodged charge moves, with maybe a 50 - 60% success ratio.I thought for sure I would get "sniped" when the gym color finally went from Red to Grey, but it wasn't, and I was able to put my Lapras in the gym. I stayed in their for about 2 hours, longer than I thought! (I didn't have time to prestige the gym up)This was the closest gym to my house, and it is always a level 10 valor gym. It felt really good to take it down, I hope you can all do the same to fight gym stagnation! I am lucky to have a lot poke-stops in my area, I realize not everyone is in the same situation.For anyone who has tried and not succeeded, don't give up, even just recently it felt frustrating to me, because I didn't quite have strong enough attackers yet. I just recently got a 3rd Vap, a 2nd Lapras, and powered up the Dragonite some more, all of which definitely helped.Anyone else have a story to share?
