"[Theory] New spawns are condensed based on trainer data in preparation for Winter season"

#PokemonGO: My girlfriend and I both started playing from our homes on Day 1 of the game. Since then, we open the app regularly from our home to check nearby gyms and 'mons.Since the spawn change, we've noticed a lot more activity at our home with a greater variety of species. This is likely not true for everyone but my home went from at most three spawns to five or six regularly. Our nearby supermarket has also nearly doubled in activity but this maybe subjective. My theory is that, using trainer activity data since launch, the new spawns are to lessen the travel necessary through cold or snow ridden terrain. If true, you should see more 'mons in areas with regular player activity. Or the game could be cataloging most active login spots, creating hotspots for spawns.Just a theory. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2fQeS4s
