"What to save for Gen II - Pokemon families with new Evolutions, Pre-Evolutions, and Split Evolutions Reference"

#PokemonGO: It seems like there's a new "What candies should I save for Gen II" post every day, so at risk of contributing to that myself, I've put together a concise, copy-paste-able list of how Gen II will add to existing Pokemon families. New Gen II Pokemon have their names in bold, followed by a superscript of their projected max CP. Their names are hyperlinked to their Bulbapedia pages if you're interested in their stats and typing.New Evolutions:Zubat -> Golbat -> Crobat 2348Onix -> Steelix 2080Scyther -> Scizor 2270Horsea -> Seadra -> Kingdra 2671Porygon -> Porygon2 2653Chansey -> Blissey 1234New Pre-evolutions:Pichu 426 -> Pikachu -> RaichuCleffa 599 -> Clefairy -> ClefableIgglybuff 612 -> Jigglypuff -> WigglytuffTyrogue 550 -> Hitmonchan OR Hitmonlee OR Hitmontop 1515Smoochum 820 -> JynxElekid 1166 -> ElectabuzzMagby 1270 -> MagmarNew Split-Evolutions:Oddish -> Gloom -> Bellossom 2394Poliwag -> Poliwhirl -> Politoed 2460Eevee -> Umbreon 2311Eevee -> Espeon 2252Slowpoke -> Slowking 2597.Tyrogue note: With the addition of Tyrogue, who has a split evolution between Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, and the new Hitmontop, it's likely that Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee candies will be merged..New Evolutions and Split Evolutions are the ones you'll really want to be saving candy for. Pre-evolutions are often left out of responses to the Gen II questions, but they may be very important. Their addition may increase the max CP of their evolutions, and it's possible that they may introduce new moves that make evolving from a new pre-evolution preferable to the evolved forms that you may already have. Either way, stock up on candy for their families as well. via /r/TheSilphRoad https://www.reddit.com/r/TheSilphRoad/comments/5c83de/what_to_save_for_gen_ii_pokemon_families_with_new/?utm_source=ifttt
