"Anyone else unable to play due to freezing upon start up?"

#PokemonGO: It really sucks because I've been doing nothing but walking around Disney land and I want to hatch some eggs but every time I start up the game it loads super super slow and when it finally loads it freezes every single time. Only since the event started has this been happening. I feel robbed because I can't play the game and I bought incubators for the event. this is the most waking I've done in a long time.
