"[Complaint]Pokémon GO uses way too much battery"

#PokemonGO: Anyone else here feels like the app uses way too much battery these days? I know they added some complex calculations in the background to fight botters, which is the main cause of this drain. But damn, 70% percent in a little over one hour is not ok. My use case today for example was a bit of training with the screen set to 50% brightness and a bit of walking to hatch eggs and spin pokéstops. All of this with the game and phone battery saver turned on, 3G network, using GO extender app to turn off my amoled screen and also using the phone's GPS only. A month or two ago the same usage would drain 30 - 40% percent, which is still quite a lot, but at least I didn't have to worry about my phone dying all of a sudden at 20%, which it now happens only while playing this game (which is another huge gripe I have with this game recently). For anyone wondering, I'm playing on a 8 month old Nexus 6p with 7.1.1. beta 2. Unfortunately I don't have any screenshots of the battery graph, but it's pretty bad.Had to get this off my shoulders. Happy hunting, trainers! via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2fQcAB9
