Let's try not to screw up this mission as bad as the last, everyone. There are 600,000 people subscribed to this subreddit, which means if every single person on the sub were to catch ONE pokemon with island scan, we would be 60% of the way there.Need QR codes? Got you covered (I didn't make the album)./u/ItsProfOak has posted special QR codes too. These give 20 points for the island scan rather than 10, which means you can do double the island scans. Keep in mind that in order to scan the special codes again, you must use the island scan. Thanks to /u/ParanoidDrone for confirming.To participate, you have to go to the festival plaza (press X and it is the icon with the castle that says festival plaza) and enter the castle in the center. Talk to the receptionist NPC immediately to the right of the entrance and she will ask you if you want to participate in the mission. Accept, then go scan some QR codes with the QR scan feature (also in the X menu). Keep in mind you can scan ANY QR code and you will get a pokemon and 10 points. You get 10 scans a day, and you need 100 points to use the island scan feature. If you use special QR codes, you get 20 points instead, so 2 island scans a day. Once you use the island scan feature (), it will tell you that a pokemon has appeared on your island, what route it's on, and an outline of the 'mon. Find it and defeat it/capture it.
