"Anyone else hatch the same Pokemon that was your buddy around the same time it found its last (or close to last) candy it needed to evolve?"

#PokemonGO: The last regional Pokemon I needed to complete my dex was Muk. I have only caught one Grimer, and have never hatched any, so I made it my buddy. I started with 3 candies, and walked everyday to get enough candies to evolve it. Today was the big day, as I had walked 135km, and was ready to walk 6km more to finally have enough candies to evolve it.Then, at the same time Grimer found its 49th candy, a Grimer was hatched! I didn't know whether to be frustrated, since I had walked almost the entire kilometer distance needed to hatch one, or be excited that the hatched Grimer had a better IV than the one that was my buddy.Anyone else have a similar experience? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2ku3hu6
