"[CONFIRMED] Speed lock Pokestops contribute towards your 10 Pokestop streak reward."
#PokemonGO: Yesterday I posted speculation that your streaks carried over between speed-locked Pokestops (http://ift.tt/2hUWFPC)Today on my daily commute to work I decided to test my anecdotal theory. I recorded what each Pokestop swipe result was, and then made sure that my 10th stop was not speedlocked. Any result of "try again later" was done with no Pokemon appearing in the nearby tab (which only happens while speedlocked in my area). These were my results:Swipe 1: Try again later.Swipe 2: Try again later.Swipe 3: Try again later.Swipe 4: First Pokestop of the day, 6 items.Swipe 5: 3 items.Swipe 6: Try again later.Swipe 7: Try again later.Swipe 8: Try again later.Swipe 9: Try again later.Swipe 10: 5 items (streak reward). To be sure, I did a second set of 10 that began with the remainder of my drive and ended during my morning walk from the metro station.Swipe 11: Try again later.Swipe 12: 3 items.Swipe 13: Try again later.Swipe 14: 3 items.Swipe 15: Try again later.Swipe 16: 3 items.Swipe 17: 3 items.Swipe 18: 3 items.Swipe 19: 3 items.Swipe 20: 6 items (streak reward). This feels pretty conclusive. I'll test a few more times across my commute to be sure but I think it's pretty clear that speed-locked Pokestops still contribute towards your streak of 10.I'm going to do some more testing regarding what happens if your 10th Pokestop is speed locked, what happens when your item bag is full, etc...Journal for the first set showing only 3 stops before a reward (including the first swipe of the day to show that I didn't swipe before this): http://ift.tt/2iMePaW: Apparently people think the 10th result was not a streak bonus. I'll be running another test tonight and strictly looking at experience from the stops instead. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2iHVHZa
